What I do
My world is a strange mix of creative chaos and high-end logic. Somewhere between the free-spirited 'hippie' soul chasing the next line and the analytical mind obsessed with tech and business, I found my sweet spot. Whether I’m setting a commercial boulder project or fine-tuning an AI-driven guide, I embrace the messy process of creation to deliver one thing: a perfect, functional flow.
"My path is forged in steel and refined on sandstone. I started with a Master’s degree in Metalworking, a foundation that taught me structural integrity and technical precision. But the call of the boulders was stronger.
What began as a passion quickly turned into a career. I founded gethighroutesetting, played a key role in building Prisma Holds, and navigated the complexities of the climbing industry as an entrepreneur. After successfully selling my shares, I am now stripping everything back to the essentials.
Highset is my first 100% independent project—a fusion of my technical roots, my business experience, and my love for the climbing flow. I’m no longer just building for others; I’m creating the tools I always wanted to exist.
My approach
I don’t believe in rigid templates. My approach is rooted in the hands-on reality of building something from nothing. Having spent most of my adult life deeply embedded in the climbing industry—founding my own companies and shaping brands from the ground up—I’ve learned that a solid foundation is non-negotiable.
To be honest, I don't follow a predefined formula. My process is driven by an obsession to truly understand how things work. To an outsider, my path might look like total chaos, but I feel perfectly at home in that friction. It’s where I find the structure that actually matters. It might get loud, and things might clash along the way, but that’s exactly how the best results are forged.
